PPTI HISTORY

1978 - Nichei Corporation and Delta Motor Company established a joint venture (Delta High Steel Processors, Inc.) in Pason Tamo, Makati City.

1992 - Delta High Steel Processor, Inc. change to company name to Nichei Pilipinas, Inc.

1995 - Nichei Corporation established Philippine Precision Technology, Inc. The corporation purchased a factory lot in a PEZA area in Carmelray Industrial Park 1, Canlubang, Calamba City Laguna.

1996 - Philippine Precision Technology, Inc. was inaugurated on June 18, 1996

2004 - Nichei Pilipinas Corporation was acquired by Hitachi Metals Co., Ltd.

2005 - Nichei Pilipinas, Inc. transfers the sales and manufacturing of tool steels to Philippine Precision Technology, Inc.

2010 - The holding company of Philippine Precision Technology, Inc. was renewed: Akitron International Corporation (61%) Hitachi Metals Tool Steel Co., Ltd. (39%)

2022 - Akitron International Corporation acquired the shares from Hitachi Metals Tool & Steel, Ltd. Akitron became the 100% owner of PPTI
